Top 10 Student of the Year Semi-Finalists Announced

We would like to congratulate the top 10 Student of the Year semi-finalists:  Anthony Bow, Dalton Diel, Ashleigh Hughes, Jackson Kennedy, Kayla Lynch, Aidan McGhee, Abigail Rutledge, Carlee Smith, Kayla Vo, and Anna Ward.   There will be more information about the next phase of the competition coming home after Thanksgiving break.

Important Information About Louisiana 2015 Assessment Scores

If your child was in 3rd-8th grade last school year, an individualized score report detailing their performance on the Louisiana 2015 English language arts and math assessments will be sent home this Thursday, November 19.


In an effort to better help parents understand their child’s overall performance, Bossier Schools has produced a video to break down what this report entails and how to interpret it. Just click on this link.


After receiving your child’s report, please feel free to contact the school at which your child tested if there are any questions.

Fall PBIS Trip Sign-Up

 Parents and guardians,


Benton Middle is offering all first semester zero heroes a field trip on December 18, 2015. If you would like your student to attend the trip you have the option of signing up online or through the BMS app. Hard copies of the form were also sent home on Thursday, November 12. All money is due to your student's homeroom teacher by Thursday, November 19.
